Cornish Cross Signet Ring in Solid Silver with 9ct Gold Cross

£165.00

This deliciously chunky and extremely tactile signet ring was inspired by the Cornish flag. The ring serves as a core piece within the Unearthed Collection. I wanted to create something that looked like it had been discovered after being buried for hundreds of years within the earth. I turned to lost wax carving to mould and sculpt all the nooks and crannies that would tend to appear on an ancient, long lost artefact. The 9ct gold cross serves as a nod to the St Piran’s flag and to Cornwall’s historical connection with the precious metal. Historians believe that Cornwall was the locatIon for a ‘gold rush’ in the early Bronze Age and many of the UK’s and Western Europe’s most precious jewellery artefacts were created using gold panned from Cornwall’s rivers.

This item is handmade to order so there will be small differences between each finished piece.

It’s important that you know your ring size.
You can order ring sizers cheaply online, just ensure that you have bought a UK ring sizer, which use an Alphabet system. Alternatively, you can go into a jewellers and have your finger measured.

Each of your fingers will be a different size and the right hand will be different then the left. Please bear in mind that our fingers fluctuate in size depending on the weather / room temperature. In a hot environment our fingers will expand and in cold conditions they will contract. Therefore, it would be ideal if you could measure your finger at various intervals throughout the day for a more accurate reading.

If you order your ring in the wrong size, I will resize it once for free and any further resizing will incur additional cost of £20 to resize it. I do not cover the return postage.
